Fingering
Fingering is about how to grab chords. Below is an example of a commonly used chart for guitar chords. Numbers indicate fingers and position indicate positions on the fretboard.
Fingers
- T = thumb
- 1 = index finger
- 2 = middle finger
- 3 = ring finger
- 4 = pinkie

- above the chord name is given
- black dots indicate fret position on neck
- numbers indicate fingers (but they are often omitted)
